Why should we choose you?
We believe in high quality imagery with a purpose. Our team are artists, marketers, story tellers and tech-geeks. With all of this combined, we approach filming and production from a strategic perspective - you won’t ever find us creating video, for video’s sake. We are also constantly investing in the latest technology so our filming gear is up to date. We often find ourselves having to represent someone else’s’ brand whilst filming. E.g. Capturing furniture for a furniture maker at a retirement home, or a coffee machine for an equipment manufacturer in a cafe. We pride ourselves on our manner, our professionalism and our ability to be sensitive in any circumstance and to represent our clients’ brands as if we worked directly for them.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! We regularly film and capture photographs all over New Zealand. Our filming and photography gear can be packed up and transported with us by road or plane and we can edit remotely for fast turn-around projects. Whilst we are based in Christchurch, you will find us all over Canterbury, the South Island and North Island (and even sometimes overseas).
How do we receive our videos and photos?
We provide your photos and videos to you via a password protected digital download. You can download these to your own device and then upload them to the platform(s) of your choice for example, your website, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or show them at events, and presentations, We will speak with you prior to producing your videos and still images to ensure we produce them based on the specifications required for the platforms you will be using.
How do we act in front of a camera?
We take pride in ensuring you, your team, your customers and your suppliers feel comfortable and relaxed with cameras around.
We are fun and friendly, it’s our job to make your interactions with us and on camera as seamless and natural. All you need to do is to be yourselves - we’ll take care of the rest.
Are you certified and insured for drone operations?
We are fully insured and hold UAV qualification: CAA 102 approval and certification. This means we are able to legally fly a drone and capture aerial footage in areas where those who are not certified cannot. This includes within 4km of an airfield, we have an exception which allows us to fly at night and we can work with our clients to gain concessions to fly over the likes of Government-owned land. We strictly will only operate our drone when and where it is legal and safe to do so.
Can we have the RAW footage/photos?
We film using a RAW Cinema Film-Log. This maximises the quality we are capturing so we can provide you with an amazing, true-to-life final video and Canon RAW for still images.
The format of our RAW footage and photos is complex and the files sizes are extremely large. They need very high powered computers to be viewed and must be handled by a professional editor who is a specialist in video and photo editing software.
In order to protect the quality of your imagery, we provide you with high-resolution professionally edited, sound mixed and colour graded videos and professionally edited high resolution still images, not the RAW footage or photos.
